Wedo are one of the world's leading candle wick manufacturers and the Stabilo (formerly known as CD) series of wicks are a firm favourite of professional chandlers. Widely regarded as some of the best wicks available on the market, these are used extensively by some of Europe's and USA's largest candle manufacturers.

Stabilo wicks are used in many different applications and are especially compatible with a highly scented paraffin/blended wax and a harder-to-melt vegetable based wax.These wicks are pre-cut to 110 mm, pre-waxed and are already fitted with a 15mm metal sustainer (tab), ready to be placed into your candle container. These wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided wicks with a special paper filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture.

Wedo wicks combine the highest grade wick materials, state of the art braiding and spooling technology as well as tried, tested and approved chemical treatments to provide the cleanest and safest possible burn in the materials in question. The materials and processes also ensure consistent product quality from start to finish and from batch to batch. As an accredited supplier, Wedo only manufactures wicks which fulfill the stringent requirements of the European quality seal RAL GZ 041. Wedo is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2008.

Wick Size Guide

The larger Stabilo wicks are best suited for vegetable wax blends, with Stabilo 14-18 being commonly used in 30cl soy candles. This size chart is a rough guide - different waxes, fragrance and dyes all effect the wicking of a candle. Trial and error is the only way to ensure correct wicking.
