When cocoa butter is deodorised, it undergoes some changes. It is deodorised by using a process that injects stem into the melted cocoa butter.

This pushes out volatile components which contribute to the natural odour of cocoa butter. The result is a product that is significantly reduced in odour.

• It is widely used for its emollient benefits, it has a place in many body butters, hand creams, massage blends in the marketplace as it melts beautifully into the skin.
• Cocoa Butter is one of the most stable fats known. It contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity and has a long shelf life.
• An excellent moisturising agent for the skin. The smooth texture and sweet fragrance of cocoa butter make it a popular ingredient in cosmetics and skin care products.
